The Company

As parents of two young children, aunt and uncle to several nieces and nephews and babysitters, entertainers and companions to countless more friends' children, we regularly find ourselves buying toys and gifts for all the little people in our lives.

Despite the apparent vast choice of toys available in the high street, we have been struck by how similar everything seems, how often things break and how difficult it is to sometimes find some of the more traditional toys that we and our parents used to play with when we were children.

Like most parents, we want our children to have toys that will capture their imagination, help them develop educationally but be robust enough to withstand the rough and tumble of day to day play.

As busy, working parents, we also don't always have the time take a leisurely browse around the shops and as a result, as with other areas of our lives, we have turned more and more to the internet to purchase those special gifts for our children.

Over the last few years, we have trawled through countless websites in our search for toys. Some sites have been user friendly, others not and we have experienced a variety of on-line buying experiences: from fantastically professional, but often with a limited choice, to those that offered a huge range, but not the best service in the world!

And so the concept of Oodles of Toys was born..... The convenience of an on-line toy store that was easy to use, offered an extensive range of quality products and provided excellent customer service !

Over the last three years, we believe we have sourced a whole range of quality, value for money, wooden toys which we know from personal experience with our children, will provide hours of imaginative and educational fun.

The Products

Health and safety is a key consideration for Oodles of Toys. All our products are imported from quality suppliers in the UK and Germany, and have been CE tested to European standards. We recommend that the toys offered in our on-line store are suitable for children aged 3 and upwards or for use under adult supervision.

Conscious of our responsibility to do our bit to protect the environment, only reforested wood is used to manufacture our wooden products and we make a point of using environmentally friendly packaging.

• If you buy products, we want you to feel you have purchased something special which will give hours of fun to the intended recipient. If you are not     completely  delighted with your purchase, you can return it to us within 14 days for a full refund. (See full details of our returns policy).
• We wanted a family friendly web site which all members of the family can visit and enjoy. All the games and links on our site have been tested and vetted by our own young children and their friends, so we feel sure you can let your little ones play in the Fun Zone, safe in the knowledge that they will come to no harm.
